Happy June!

How are we halfway into 2024 already? The year is really flying past and there’s just been so much happening in the world of theatre here in Australia, and worldwide.

For Theatre Thoughts, we’ve released our first two episodes of S4 of the Theatre Thoughts Podcast, and covered a whole bunch of the best shows that Australia has to offer on the main and independent stages.

My favourite shows I’ve personally seen so far in 2024 incude: Never Closer (Belvoir St), POV (Belvoir 25A), The Eisteddfod (Old Fitz Theatre), Lou Wall: The Bisexual’s Lament (Melb Comedy Fest), Shitty (Belvoir 25A). I just need a big stage musical to wow me this year please!

In this issue I have for you the first look at our June Artists of the Month, our latest theatre reviews, the latest theatre news, a sneak peek at what’s to come on the podcast and some behind the scenes photography of rehearsals in KXT.

See you in July, stay warm!
